once again he came to a huge empty parking lot...surrounding a towering sports stadium.. a bowl . . and he could hear an amplified voice spouting words of gibberish...then there was a crowd noise..like someone almost scored a point..more gibberish and more yelling.. Sticking out of the top of the stadium were two different colored cloth tubes with heads and arms. Air rushing thru it violently and made them dance and jerk around. The two tubes were whipping into each other. .....two tube people...
one tube person was bigger than the other and was probably winning..it was hard to tell.
The entrances were accessible but he didnt feel the urge to enter into the stadium.
off in the distance he saw a man dressed in black , so he headed that direction...the man had on a black hat that made it difficult to get a good look at him..it reminded gnat of a painting by the artist Giorgio de Chirico..//

They talked awhile. He told gnat that they were in the noosphere , a world of ideas and the collective mind. Here in the noosphere you can only speak the truth..In fact everything here in the noosphere must be true..Like CO2, it was invisable to the naked eye in the ordinary world but here in Babel Land it was black and quite visible and its concentration was getting worse everyday.. Also, radioactive pollution in the ordinary world is invisible but in the noosphere it is yellow and smells metallic. . . .. ..Babel Land is the world ruled by man under the laws of man .... there is a counter world ,,, nootopia ,,where instead of man's rule, its natures rule, instead of the laws of man, its the laws of nature .. .. nootopia is a paradise if ever there was one..and you should be trying to get there. there is a town there and its called Greem..its a very nice place so always be trying to get back to Greem.

gnat walked a little farther afield and came to another tower marked "Babel Politics".. the tower was shiney black and quite massive and very tall. On top there were three tube people one red and one blue and a tiny one that was green. ... the blue one was bigger but the red one was much more violent. and the green one was so small it was hardly visible. gnat put on his mask and went in the entrance. There was a man there doing covid19 tests. he asked gnat if he's had the covid. and gnat said no.. Then the man swabbed his mouth. After 15 seconds, the machine said "good to go. please wear a mask." he then came out on to the sideliines of a football playing field. The sideliines were filled with men wearing red hats enthusiastically yelling and waving flags.. They were yelling things lke."start the steal" and "make demaocracy worse",, and "make America worse for now" They were 100% maskless, 100% white and 95% male.. gnat spoke to one....

The ground was covered with green plastic grass. on the playing field there were two teams , a blue one and a red one , , , ,and the refrees job was was to move a red ball back and forth across the gridiron..the position of the ball were dependant upon how the democrats and repulicans were doing in the polls and on who the people would vote for.,, right now the ball was on the 49 yard line so the republicans were winning..which was scary because if Trump ever got back into the white house,,it would be the end of democracy...
Here at ground level there was a giant screen, with a talking head spewing out ideas llike immigration , , ,there was no steal , , , ,white ssupremecy , ,racism , , ,, and the words ,,conspiracy theory..... no to abortion and yes to money...no to medicare for all and yes to the military....funny,,,the military is the only thing that the two parties can agree on...and they splurged on it lavishly taking up a third of the budget...no questions asked...at the same time the nature of modern warfare was losing its effectiveness and allure ... worldwide..the war in syria was an example of state sided terrorism... the Syrian leader regarding the people, the citizens as the enemy and cosequentially flattening every city and town in the country except the capitol area.. damascus .sometimes making the rubble bounce ... how's that for a head of state literally flattening the country to save it . . . . the US wars in afghanistan and Iraq were ineffectual against a committed home grown enemy.. and yet they kept throwing money at it...
on the screen appeared a leader. giving his final message to the mob....have fun and together we'll take our country back. We gotta fight or we'll lose the country...oh and by the way,,,, i dont like VP Pence anymore..string him up..
the whistle blew, it was the end of the game and .the democrats had won the presidential contest ... all that was left was to take the big red ball, the presedential ball, and roll it into the blue endzone....
suddenly something was happining.. a group of red hats and flag wavers broke out onto the field.. what security their was, couldn't hold them back.. in the process, they savagely killed some of the gaurds. they grabbed the red ball and started to play with it ...kicking it up and down the field.. this went on for 3.5 hours while they were yelling "down with democracy". "the election wasn't stolen, thats what were trying to do now, you betcha " and "Let's throw out the election" and One man took a dump and took some and smeared it on the face of a George Washington statue.., "we are morons and we're having the funneist time of our lives" and "we dont like Pelosi or Pence so lets string them up" or anyone else we can find....
this may be the lawyer in me talking but, here goes... the leader staged a rally for the low lifes who were on the side of the playing field...exhortinng them to inserrection. whippping them up.enciting them to riot .leading them to invade the capitol building.... earlier that same day the leader learned thet Pence who as president of the Senate refused to use his power to block the confirmation of the presidential election in the Senate... the fearless leader did a 180 that morning and called for Pences head. .so in the ensuing riot, anyone calling for the death of Pence was acting on their leaders orders given that day..on his whim..there were no professionaly made "kill Pence" signs or flags at the riot. It all happened so fast....you dont disobey the leaderr and get away with it..
also there were few guns apparent..,. possibly because of DC's strict gun laws..maybe the strictist in the nation..
after 3.5 hours of capitol chaos , , , a reluctant contingent of soldiers showed up and quickly cleared the capitol building with no fuss. the rioters had had enough....why did it take so damn long to happen?? what of the 147 republicans in the congress who now support the insurrection,,, to their eternal shame...a stain on their record.. you morons you traitors, is there anything the repugs wont do for more power.... more chaos.. @#$&*# them. make em pay.
gnat left the field and climbed the stairs to the first level stands..... before he got there he was again confronted by a man wearing a mask with a device designed to detect any level of covid19 even a little .. it would tell you if your contagious. . on the spot..

They broke into 3 sections,, the right whoch was red,, the left which was blue, and the middle which was green....each with their own huge TV screen...the right screen was FOX it was exciting and was filled with talking heads, and not experts in their field and non-stop conversation. these people were super fluent....they mentioned many peoples names, so many it was difficult to remember them all for just a few seconds.. but they didn't forget,,, no never... ..they had a very strong veiw of their right wing ideology...ideology is a set beliefs attributed to a person or group in which practical elements are as prominent as theortiec ones.. ..the rationality of a belief structure which may or maynot have metaphysical elements.. to the degree the ideology contains metaphysical elements, it is not necessarily universal... but it is rational...but just because its rational dosent make it true.. i'll see if i can do it,... conservative ideology is power is first.. rich people are first. . rich people give money to republicans. which is power. we worship power. money is power, politics is power.. we will do anything to hang on to power.to money . . .,..we are the minority so we have to lie in the media....voter suppression... spreading falsehoods, gerrymandering, packing the courts with right wing ideologic judges . . .., and even storming the capitol in an attempted coup .. in an attemp to overturn the legitimate presidential election results...dispicable is the word. . .. .
the middle section group of people , the greens, were small. they all wore masks. . . . .The further right the GOP goes, the more people file into the center seats and the left seats. the greens were worried about the present condition of the Earth....its ecosystems, its ocean, and its air..not just about global warming a mainstream topic and rightly so, but there was more, far more to worry about and be dealt with,,,,,,the Earth was rapidly deteriorating like coral reefs due to pollution and ocean temperature,, loss of which would effect 24% of all ocean life,,,,insect populations are way down due to insecticide and loss of habitat... green lawns dont offer much in the way of food. for insects,, . .the nuclear contamination ..due to human actions .. and hubris . the greens TV screen was PBS and featured pictures of sunsets and moonlight,, orcas and butterflies, nature in all its glory...they loved the planet and were cognisant of its fragility.. they viewed the earth as a rarity in the cosmos..if not unique in the cosmos....there is no planet B.available to us ....earth is it....earth>>>money . . .their vision of the earth in 100 years is horrendous...due to overpopulation and sprawl , due to pollution in all its forms, loss of habitat, runaway greenhouse effect, and novel diseases like covid....but when push comes to shove,,the green party would vote blue , , , ,up and down the ticket....
the left wing crowd in the bleachers, the blue, was large and sprawling. the people were safely spread out, wearing masks, their phone was on DailyKos....their TV was tuned into MSNOW and CNN,,,, the televised political conversations were washing over them.. they were incrdibily complex....gnat wasn't good with names.. but the political news channels used alot of names that gnat recognised and so long as the pundits bandied them about like a juggler he inderstood and followed their logic.. he could fit the pieces together in the moment... but not for any length of time.. but in the moment it solidifys my adherence to the left.... although he disagreed with some aspects of their logic.. their ideology is all life is sacred.....and mysterious...the main problem for the earth is global warming,,,climate change . . .people are sacred .. life is sacred , . ..our community is broken into 6 cleasses, the rich, the middle class, the poor, and the homeless.. the immigrants and the corporation.. .. the rich should pay their fair share.they can look out for themselves... the middle class can take care of themselves but they are shrinking, the poor should be bolstered by a minimom wage, help with food and universal healthcare for all.. the homeless need basic help, the immigrants need help by helping the coumtries fight off the drug gangs . , and corporations should not be treated like people and should lean more to the left...develope a conscience to do good....and not be able to in fluence politics with dark money . . . .
. .. Here again at the back . were three grey money tubes going off into the distance . .two small tubes going into the politcal stadium and one much, much, much larger tube going out .
there was a gibberish conversation going on between the red and blue tubes ... the blue tube uttered something but with many different voices saying many different things.. the red tube would answer,but it was with one voice..as if the red tube were reading its words off a playlist . .Gnat watched for awhile but nothing was changing.. it got a little boring so....gnat climbed a second set of stairs. once again he had to pass a covid test..your good to go... here he was on the second tier of the stadium.. the second bleachers..they were sparsly populated.. not a red hat in sight.. there was only one section. and they were all blue,,,, they were on multiple channels.. they were stimulating..... there was wheel of fortune, jeopardy they were reading the newspaper and working all tthe puzzles/...
gnat headed back to the highway.. and on to the..
